How do we help people find the library?

Muswell Hill Re-opening Update
The Library is unlikely to be reopened before April 2025. And when it does open, its hours are likely to form a patchwork of assorted hours, with no day the same as the day before. That's if Haringey gets its way. The Haringey consultation seems certain to lead to the perennial design-by-committee outcome: yet another camel, when what we and everybody else needs is a racehorse. One where no-one can remember when the opening hours are, so lots of us delay going or arrive when it is not open.

In Muswell Hill, we have submitted our own requirements, which focus on our prime mission: all age education, with a strong focus on school age needs, and a subsidiary theme of supported the excluded people in our society - e.g. isolated older people, new parents, and the like.

Here's what you can do to help:

We may need support for our delegation to a Cabinet meeting that evening. Details including time and places will be supplied nearer the time. At present we cannot be sure if the meeting is needed as the Haringey decisions are not yet available.
