Have you seen these mosaics in Parliament?

The final work was installed 100 years ago this week. Today, Parliament’s Heritage Collections Team still cares for them.

Look out for them the next time you visit.

Then ➡️ In 1897, Committee Corridor provided access to 16 committee rooms where Members of both Houses met to consider policy issues, scrutinise government work and expenditure, and examine proposed legislation.

Now ➡️ The layout and purpose of Committee Corridor remains largely unchanged. After almost 130 years as a working part of the Palace of Westminster, Committees continue to meet here, and in the newer Portcullis House.

There's one week left to see 'A Historic Farewell: Art as Witness to the Lying-in-State of Queen Elizabeth II'.

During the Lying-in-State of the late Queen, 250,000 people queued to file past the coffin and pay their respects.

Six UK artists Lachlan Goudie, Dryden Goodwin, Caroline Walker, Tina Crawford, Julia Midgley and Eleanor Crook observed and recorded the ceremony and the activity surrounding it. The artworks now form part of the Parliamentary Art Collection.

The last day to see the works of art in Westminster Hall is 2 October.
