Labour raised the crumbling concrete issue 180 times in Parliament. Mike Freer MP, along with his Tory colleagues voted to block the release of school safety reports in May 2023.
Bishop Douglass School in East Finchley was due to be repaired under Labour's Building Schools for the Future programme. But the Tories cancelled the funding in 2010.
Day 1 of the new school year, students in East Finchley are being taught in portacabins.
What an utter shambles. Our children and community deserve better.
Sign our petition to demand the Government come clean and fix the mess.
