This summer, our Employability & Skills programme partnered with a range of organisations to deliver over 160 in-business opportunities for students in partnerships with 17 businesses across sectors such as:

🥼Work experience in laboratories.

🎬Insight days in film studios.

🗣️Workshops to master communication.

💷Sessions on developing financial literacy.

This supported over 450 young Londoners aged 16 and over to build the skills that springboard them to explore careers they thought were unattainable, propelled by a sense of belonging and ambition that helps them thrive.

Thank you to all our partners and supporters for enabling this work, the businesses and employers who facilitated work experience and business insight days, and the organisations who delivered workshops and skills sessions.💚

Huge congratulations to the Lionesses on their incredible Euros win last night, a moment that will inspire a generation. 🏆

You showed what talent, teamwork and belief can achieve, and young Londoners are watching. 👀

This summer, through our Kitchen Social Hubs, we’re supporting the next generation with free sports sessions, healthy meals, and life skills workshops. Giving them places and spaces to replicate what they’ve seen on their TV’s over the last month.

We’re helping young people stay active, build confidence and thrive. And maybe one day wear the Lionesses shirt themselves. ⚽💚

7 Young Londoners. 7 Stories. 7 Dreams.

Have you ever wondered what the young person sitting next to you on the train hopes to achieve? Or whether they even have the resources, support or time to dream?

Our Tomorrow is our latest youth-led creative insights project. Told through the voices of young Londoners, it captures what it’s like growing up in London today.

A London where over 122 youth centres closed between 2010-2023, around 400,000 children are affected by food insecurity with Londoners from Global majority backgrounds being twice as likely to be in poverty.

Our ambitious new strategy sets out our vision for a London where every young person is equipped with the healthy start, skills, and power to lead positive change in their city.

Our Tomorrow amplifies the voices that are often not heard but are no less powerful, giving them a platform to share their vision for London.

What will their tomorrow look like? Let’s find out together!

See you in two weeks!
