Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome back to the , TheVeteran.UK, as they continued their inspirational podcast series 🎙️featuring serving and former serving military personnel, alongside others with strong links to the Armed Forces.

One of the special guests was our CEO & Club Secretary, Colonel Colin Francis CBE (Ret'd), who shared fascinating insights from his time in the Army and his experiences since leaving service 🎖️ He also spoke about the work of the VSC, including the Club’s charitable Respite & Welfare Breaks in support of the military community.

We’re looking forward to sharing this episode with members once the final recordings are complete — keep an eye out in the coming weeks! 👀

It’s World Whisky Day 🥃 — the perfect excuse to savour a smooth pour of Whisky in the Lounge Bar. Whether you’re catching up with friends or spending the weekend at the Club, it’s a great time to try a dram ✨

🌿 Mental Health Awareness Week is an important reminder of how vital it is to look after the people who look after our members — our incredible team.

Throughout the week, our HR department has been leading a series of wellbeing initiatives, from mindfulness resources to offering access to confidential support services. On Wednesday, staff were invited to pause and pick an Affirmation Card — a small moment of positivity designed to help reset and refocus during a busy working day.

We’re proud to champion a workplace where our team feels valued, supported, and empowered — because great service begins with great wellbeing. 💚

✨ We were delighted to welcome some guests to the Club today. Our CEO and Club Secretary, Colin Francis CBE, met with Chairman, Major General Alastair Dickenson CBE, together with their CEO, Kenneth Kirk and Marketing & Communications Director, Chris Toulmin (photographed). 🤝

The REAHQ team were keen to express their appreciation for the ’s recent sponsorship of their 2026 London Marathon runners 🏃‍♂️🏅, which also provided the Club with excellent visibility through sponsorship branding and coverage.

🎖️🏉 The Army v Navy Babcock Trophy returns this Saturday, 2nd May 2026! 🔥

A highlight of the calendar, the Army v Navy fixture stands as the biggest annual event in military sport—packed with fierce rivalry, pride, and unforgettable atmosphere. ⚔️ Will the Army take back the trophy this year, or can the Navy hold on to it for 2026?

Hosted at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, this is also the largest amateur sporting event in the country! 🏟️ The VSC wishes all teams the best of luck. 🎉 To mark the occasion, the Navy Lounge bar will be open from 10:00.
