The loss of a pet can have significant impact on individuals and which can often be overlooked.

It's encouraging to see more people speak up about pet as the loss of a pet can often feel like that of a person.

We are creating the Greater Pet Greater London Pet Crematorium - to help validate pet bereavement while providing pet owners with alternatives to perhaps less personal at-home burials and vet disposal services.

"A breathtaking final journey - scatter your loved one's ashes in space"

Aura's passengers travel in a spacecraft lifted by a hydrogen-filled stratospheric balloon. When the craft reaches 100,000 feet (32,500 metres) above the Earth, their intelligent scatter vessel at the heart of the craft opens to release the ashes in a gentle cascade. They scatter the full complement of ashes, with each flight dedicated to a single passenger or couple.

Over the following 6 months, the passenger's ashes traverse the entire planet, spreading out to cover every corner of the globe. In time, they descend into the upper atmosphere, mingle with pockets of water vapour, and finally return to the Earth as raindrops and snowflakes.

The spacecraft is equipped with two space-capable 4K cameras, which film the launch, ascent and moment of release. Following the flight, Aura transform the footage into a personalised memorial video for friends and family, incorporating photographs, written messages and video clips from the passenger's life.

All 3 of our beautiful, historical grounds are public spaces and are enjoyed in many different ways by the local community. For this reason we ask that you consider how other people use our grounds when you visit.

While our grounds are open to the public, they are cemeteries and so are always being visited by people who have suffered loss and are either attending a service or are visiting the grave of a loved one. Please be considerate of the potential needs and sensitivities of people like this.

Do not let young children run and shout - our grounds are not playgrounds. Also, please be both aware and careful of subsidence as this can be particularly hazardous around even slightly overgrown plots.

Finally, please take any litter you may generate away with you when you leave.

When come to us we help you arrange the funeral, we will go and collect your loved one as soon as we can and we arrange the cremation. We fill in all the paperwork for you. If you go to see a funeral director, they do their bit, they help you fill in our bit, but then they have to call us to organise ... and we can refer you to registrars as well.
