Catford Childcare Group
The Catford Childcare Group is an Ofsted-approved, welcoming after-school space for children from Year 1 to Year 11. Running every Thursday, it offers a safe, supportive environment where children can learn, relax, and have fun after a long school day.

There are structured activities, homework support, and plenty of opportunities for children to build confidence and make friends. Our team is trained, experienced, and committed to providing high-quality care that parents can rely on.

Every Thursday during term time and holidays, from 5:15pm to 9:15pm. Affordable, trusted, and open to all families in the community.

Meet a qualified career coach every Tuesday to access free, flexible career guidance. Sign up for 6 hours of one-to-one coaching that you can use at your own pace, whether that’s continuing to meet in person, connecting with your coach online, or a mix of both.

Get support with career direction, building confidence, skills development, job applications, and your next steps. Completely self-directed, with professional coaching when you need it.

Available to local residents aged 18 who are unemployed, working part-time or earning under £30K. FREE

Our Bereavement Help Point is a two-hour drop-in session that aims to provide bereaved people with a place where they can talk to others and share their emotions.

This is a mostly remote post, only needed to attend the library for four two-hour board meetings a year. Torridon Writers
Torridon Writers is a creative writing group which meets on the first Tuesday of every month. We take our writing seriously but we do it in a fun and gentle way. We experiment with all sorts of ways to write: poetry, stories, memories and anecdotes. Along the way we discover a lot about each other and different ways to express ourselves. We are a group of friends who support and care about one another as we make our way through the world of writing. We always welcome new members, whether you have written before or have never written a word.
