Visits recently to Equal People Mencap who provide learning disability services to borough residents and in the second picture, Action Disability Kensington and Chelsea who provided a fantastic service to decision makers with advice, educations social events and making the place better for people with different abilities.

Meeting our new street enforcement warden, Arthur, who is our dedicated Stanley Ward officer on civil enforcement. Pleased to walk him around the ward pointing out a few issues that he can help tackle.

Fundraising event for our fab MP for Chelsea and Fulham .hands and journalist Andrew Pierce last week. Interesting insights and some fun stories about being a politician and being in public life.

Thanks to the Mayor and the Deputy Leader, Kim Taylor-Smith, for hosting a fab Business Reception last night in the Town Hall.

A host of businesses from around the Borough including here with Hayden from who is about to launch his training programme between businesses and our schools in the Borough.

A fascinating visit to on Fulham Rd. The Marden is one of Europe’s leading comprehensive cancer research centres and is the UK’s only biomedical research centre dedicated to cancer.

It is also the world leader in sarcomas care and research, above and beyond anywhere else. A wonderful institution that we’re so pleased to host in Chelsea.

Days out for .hands and ahead of the two big elections this year. Message on the doorstep has been ‘No more Sadiq Khan’ - even from some Labour voters.

Out and about with .hands and ahead of the Mayoral and GLA elections on 2 May. Don’t forget to vote to send Sadiq Khan on his way.

🏥 Great visit yesterday to in my own ward

As one of the largest hospitals in the country with a fabulous track record, it was so fascinating to hear about all the work it does from emergency, maternity, testings and discharges (and much more) with the opportunities and challenges they bring.

Thanks to all the team that showed me around and for an open and honest conversation.

Look forward to seeing The King’s official portrait hanging in the Town Hall.

From civic ceremonies to the Mayor’s Parlour, what a lovely set piece to start 2024. Long may he rein.

This time of year can be difficult for many people, so I’m pleased to launch from along with the ‘Every Life Matters’ campaign to help with Su***de Prevention.

We want to raise awareness of su***de and its impact on communities with all info and help available in one place.

If you are struggling with mental health and require urgent help, please call 999 or, if possible, seek support at your local A&E.

The Su***de Prevention Strategy for Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster (2022-2025) is a three-year plan. The aim is to prevent su***de in our communities and offer support to those impacted by it.
