Delighted to be able to join Eton Manor on Saturday when they were crowned as League Champions. Sincere thanks to the Club for their generous donation to the Mayor's Appeal. A wonderful day at a Club who are truly a hidden treasure in our community.

On 1st January I took part in the London New Year’s Day parade in Central London. I was joined by lots of participants in the most wonderful costumes. The atmosphere was amazing. At a ceremony last Friday I am so pleased to announce that the Borough entry came in at second place which resulted in a fantastic prize of £10,000 for my chosen charities. Thank you to everyone who supported the parade, which was truly fantastic!

Last Friday the new womens only gym ‘Serenity’ was officially opened in Ilford. A great area with amazing facilities

I was pleased to open the first ever Redbridge Pride. The people in the photo are Richard Haywood Chair Redbridge Rainbow, myself , Ian Ambrose (Redbridge Council Staff LGBT+ Network) and Simon Shaw (Chief Executive Redbridge Rainbow Community).

I was delighted to attend the international day of Yoga celebration at the Lakeview Marquee, Fairlop Waters. Also present were Seema Malhotra MP, a government minister and Cllr Vanisha Solanki

I was pleased to be able to thank all of the volunteers in our parks, libraries and other leisure services in a reception at Hainault Forest Country Park

I was delighted to formally reopen the Marjorie Collins centre in Chadwell Heath. I heard from service users and staff about how the valuable work the centre is doing for local people with MS.
