Our small, award winning team needs to grow. We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting vulnerable adults to live their best lives, in the heart of their community.
1. SHARED LIVES OFFICER £33,705 – 35,567 PA
This person will recruit and support Shared Lives Carers enabling them to provide high quality individualised support to individuals placed with them. You will have experience of working in Adult Social Care, and of supervising others but not necessarily of Shared Lives. You will be good at building relationships with a wide range of people.
2. SHARED LIVES SENIOR OFFICER £36,705 – 38,567 PA
This person will have experience of working at a senior level, will have good IT skills, and be ready to take a lead on new initiatives and quality assurance across the scheme, whilst maintaining a caseload of shared lives arrangements. Your enthusiasm for shared lives will shine through.

Bettertogether are urgently recruiting new Shared Lives carers in Newham to provide support and care to people with support needs such as people with learning disabilities, older people and people with physical disabilities.

Shared Lives Carers offer people who need support a room in their home, and a place in their family and community. You will get training and ongoing support from the scheme, and we use a robust matching process to help you to chose someone who fits well into your family. They might come for a short time, until they feel well enough to move on, or it could be long term.

You are paid for the support you offer, plus rent and a contribution towards household costs.
