In 1992, Morton's book -- Diana: Her True Story -- was the tell-all to end all tell-alls, and one of the key contributors for fact-checking and confirmation of stories was Carolyn Bartholomew. Before the recorded tapes were ever released, Diana gave her subtle endorsement of the book by going to meet with her old friend.

One of her favorite morning meal was overnight oats.

She began eating a version of overnight oats created by a Swiss nutritionist that she discovered during a stay at a Swiss health clinic. Her chef Darren McGardy said: "She thought they were really good and all the ingredients were super healthy. She stole the recipe, came back and said, 'Darren, I want these for breakfast every day.'"

The night before, McGardy would cover the rolled oats with liquid, then wrap the bowl in plastic and let the oats “swell up” overnight. However, instead of activating the oats with milk, like most of us do today, McGardy used orange juice.

After letting the oats soak overnight, he would prepare the dish, almost like traditional oatmeal. To the oats, McGrady added Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, grated Honeycrisp apple, and blueberries. He mixed the ingredients until everything was combined, then served the oats in a bowl topped with blueberries and toasted walnuts.

In case you missed it yesterday, four never-seen-before photographs of Diana were released as part of an upcoming auction of royal memorabilia.

Photographs and letters from Katherine Hanbury, a childhood friend of Diana who attended West Heath Girls’ School with her between 1973 and 1977, have been shared with the U.K. auction house Gorringe's, which is putting them up for purchase beginning on July 7.

The collection includes four candid photos from Diana's school days, as well as correspondence from Diana to Hanbury.
