As a Parish Councillor within Whitmore, I've witnessed firsthand the concerning lack of accountability within both our local and national governments. The frustrations encountered while striving to enhance my local community, particularly in the realms of Planning and Highways, have propelled me to step forward as a candidate in the upcoming general election. As a lifelong Conservative, I've obser
ved with dismay the internal fractures within the party, leading to a departure from its core principles and a shift towards a more socialist mindset, even surpassing that of the Labour Party. Faced with this dilemma, I pondered between standing as an independent or seeking alignment with another party. It was during these deliberations that I engaged with Reform UK—a party embodying small-c conservative values and advocating for sensible, comprehensible policies. Today, many individuals find themselves politically adrift, disillusioned by the striking resemblance between Labour and Conservatives, resulting in a cycle of stagnation that has persisted for the past 14 years. It's evident that we urgently need a fresh perspective, one that prioritises systemic reform and champions greater transparency from our elected representatives. Too often, politicians make lofty promises only to fall short on delivery, leaving constituents feeling neglected and unheard. This sentiment resonates deeply within the residents of Newcastle-Under-Lyme, who yearn for genuine representation and tangible progress. It's time for a paradigm shift—an end to the binary choice of Red or Blue, and a call for Reform. If you share this vision and wish to contribute to our cause by joining the campaign, I encourage you to reach out. Ruuning my own business, I'm readily available to respond promptly and engage with you in meaningful dialogue. Together, let's embark on this journey towards a brighter, more accountable future for all and Let’s Make Britian Great again.
