Happy Friday, Changemakers!

If you need a *new* book this month, you’re in luck! 🍀

Written by the incredible Maisie Hill, is a profound, but practical blueprint for aligning daily life with the menstrual cycle, to give all menstruators a no-nonsense explanation of what the hell happens to us every month and how we can use each phase to its full advantage.

90% of people who have periods experience symptoms of PMS, a syndrome which features a wide range of signs and feelings, and yet there's an enduring lack of understanding about what it actually is and a disappointingly meager range of treatment options.

But what if instead of just trying to plan for our dark days, we were equipped with ways to improve them? Not to mention how to take advantage of the natural superpowers that sit in each phase of our cycle so that we can plan our month to perform at our best.

📖Find the book at your local library, bookstore, or online—remember to support local + sustainable where you can!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Maisie Hill is uniquely placed, as an acupuncturist, women's health practitioner and doula, to explain just how we can achieve this as well as focusing on particular milestones that require an altered approach, such as coming off hormonal birth control, infertility, pregnancy, motherhood and the perimenopausal years.

Happy Monday, changemakers!

Over the years, The World We Want has consistently supported and advocated for sustainable, healthy, and restorative food systems to improve lives and livelihoods. Our mission to bolster the UN’s SDGs has specifically led us to create campaigns around ending world hunger, supporting sustainable development, empowering communities economically, and accelerating climate action.

For example, we worked with the Global Open Data on Agriculture and Nutrition to organize a 2-day summit in NYC to showcase their cutting-edge work around data democratization in agriculture to support SDG2.

In a similar manner, we’d like to highlight one of our previous partners, the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation Jamie Oliver.

We also lead the global communications and advocacy strategy for the US-UAE government led initiative, Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate (AIM for Climate), to accelerate investments in climate-smart agriculture and food systems innovation to tackle climate change, global hunger and food insecurity.

Established in 2010, The Good Foundation promotes good health and nutrition, primarily using Jamie’s Ministry of Food programme. Over the years, and with the support of celebrity activism, his programme has helped folks understand the importance of good nutrition and diet. Using the hashtag , we helped garner over 22 million impressions to raise awareness around nutritional burdens in children worldwide.

During this last week of , we’d like to emulate this past work and bring attention to the importance of bringing intersectionality into every climate conversation, understanding that climate justice is for everyone, and brings a wealth of benefits, including better nutrition and equitable and resilient food systems. Ultimately, our work seeks to bridge gaps between the SDGs, creating a planet that is both liveable and free of hunger.
