Cleaners at the RCA have been reporting workplace abuse and sexual harassment for years.
After multiple formal grievances led nowhere, we organised a protest on campus to deliver a letter to RCA about the ongoing threat to their safety.
Instead of removing the supervisor accused of abusive behaviour by over 16 workers, the RCA subcontractor sacked two of those who tried to deliver a letter, and issued two others with final warnings.
This is victimisation. Black and white.
We need RCA students, teachers, technicians and outsourced workers to come together as a campus and stand behind these fired workers:
Join protest on the 14th of May to demand the RCA lives up to its values, by reinstating the fired workers and protecting us from further abuse and harassment.
Donate to the hardship fund for cleaners who have lost their income.
Do you know any students, staff or alumni at the RCA? Tell them about what’s happening. Encourage them to get involved. Come together to the protest on the 14th.

IWGB GOES TO THE NATIONAL HOUSING DEMONSTRATION
✊National Housing Demonstration
📍 Soho Square Gardens, London W1D 3QP
🗓 Saturday 18th April
⏰ 12PM for a 1PM set off
The National Housing Demonstration is set to be the biggest housing march in years and the IWGB will be a part of it. Join our bloc as we take to the streets for the biggest show out of renter power in years to demand rent controls, more public housing and end to gentrification that displaces communities.
What is the point of a hard-won pay rise that just goes back into a landlord's pockets?
Alone we cannot fight property developers and landlords but if we come together to make our voices heard, we can create a fair housing system, which works for everyone, not just the few.
Spearheaded by the London Renters Union and backed by more than 80 organisations, it is calling for both rent controls and more public housing via their Cut The Rent campaign.
Together we are stronger!

🚨 WRITE TO THE RCA - LINK IN BIO 🚨
Cleaners at the RCA are being silenced and victimised for speaking out against sexual harassment. After enduring over 3 years of workplace bullying and harassment, cleaning staff took action and held a small, peaceful protest to hand in a formal grievance. Following this, PFP (the outsourcing company) have been victimising and targeting the cleaners with the support of the RCA. They have been told that by raising awareness of sexual harassment and exploitation, they are bringing disrepute to the company and the client.
This is unacceptable and we need your help to let the RCA know that this cannot continue ‼️📢
Write to the Vice Chancellor Christoph Linder to demand the university takes action and stops covering up abuse!
