Saturday August 14 to Sunday August 22. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, CU will be held online, via Zoom.

Attendance is free, but you must register in advance for each session. Registration links can be found at https://communistuniversity.uk/cu2021-summer/

The aim of Communist University is not to present some uniform line. Speakers have been chosen in order to provoke debate rather than seek a worthless consensus - that we are all opposed to cuts, racism, war, sexism, climate change, Trump and the Tories.

There will be plenty of time given for debate. Speakers from the ‘floor’ will not be limited to one- or two-minute contributions. Nor will 'awkward'; minorities be passed over unheard. The clash of opinions is just what we are looking for. Sharp, robust, no-holds-barred debate is the best way to overcome wrong ideas.
