We’re just a couple of weeks away from our annual Spring Fair, taking place on Sunday 19th April from 12pm–4pm. We’re looking forward to welcoming a wonderful selection of local makers who will be joining us throughout the house and gardens.

Our Garden Café and community bar will be open all afternoon, and we’re delighted to host a live performance by Drum Africa at 2pm. Also look out for a short extract from Romeo & Juliet performed by Stage Acting Studio from our balcony.

For families, Wanderers of the Woods will be running children’s activities in the sunken garden and summer house from 1pm–3pm.

We’ll also be running three of our popular Shrewsbury House fundraising stalls; the tombola, a raffle and our bric a brac treasure table.
A huge thank you to everyone who has already donated prizes, and to our amazing volunteers who make these stalls possible. We’re still gratefully accepting both raffle and tombola donations—please drop these off at the front desk or in the office. All proceeds support the ongoing running of the House.
