What an inspiring evening with MP Nesil Caliskan! Thank you to all who came and joined the conversation. Many thanks to the Ripple Effect residents group for holding the space for this memorable evening to have happened.
The turnout was strong, and the room included influential voices from across multiple parties — people who can drive the policy changes our community needs. There was a raffle, great snacks, and most importantly, a lively debate that delivered something rare: accountability from a person in power driving changes in the borough . It’s the kind of open, responsive discussion the community deserves.

🚨 A few days ago, we put out a call to clean up Footpath 47 after one of our dedicated volunteers spotted some nasty fly-tipping and litter harming the wildlife. 🌿🦋 The response was AMAZING! 💚🙌 25 incredible volunteers showed up, including a powerhouse group of 20 from the 💚 Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing 🙏🏽. We can not praise them enough as many are not local to our borough but always come when they can to help and it is very frequent. With the other volunteers, together, we tackled the mess and made a HUGE difference. 🗑️✨ The fly-tip is gone and reported to Enforcement (we found some personal details there!). In total, we collected 36 bags of all kinds of litter. A massive THANK YOU to everyone, big and small, who helped make Footpath 47 beautiful and clean again! 🌟💪 #communitylove #greenforce #cleanup #footpath47 #wildlifeprotection
