Happy National Rescue Dog Day! 🐾❤️

Today, we are recognising the incredible rescue dogs who bring comfort, hope, and unconditional love to so many lives. At Magen David Adom, we have seen firsthand how these amazing companions can lift spirits, support healing, and make a lasting difference for patients, families, and communities.

The Jerusalem post has announced that Magen David Adom has new mental health emergency response unit. ❤️🚑

Under the new system, mental health-related calls will be transferred to a specially trained mental health dispatcher for evaluation, instead of being handled by standard medical teams. 🇮🇱

MDA Deputy Director-General of Medicine and Blood Services, Dr. Raphael Strugo, described mental health emergencies as 'some of the most complex and emotionally charged situations our teams face.'
