They explore what it really means to build (and protect) a premium brand - from the power of word-of-mouth growth and enduring client relationships, to navigating US tariffs, maintaining British craftsmanship as a selling point, and resisting the pressure to scale for scaleโ€™s sake.

๐Ÿ‘‰ If you're interested in entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, or building a brand with longevity and purpose, this is a must-listen.

Today, to celebrate Reedโ€™s 66th birthday๐ŸŽ‚, weโ€™re proud to launch something special.

Inspired by the legacy of our Founder, the late Sir Alec Reed - who started Reed in 1960, at just 26 years old, with ยฃ75 - the 'All about business entrepreneurs fund' is officially open for applications.

This fund is about backing action, not just ideas.

Over the coming years, it will support 66 young people on their entrepreneurial journeys. In its first year alone, at least three entrepreneurs will receive ยฃ20,000 each, alongside expert mentorship to help grow their businesses.

Itโ€™s designed for UK-based 18โ€“26-year-olds who are already building something real - a business under three years old with at least one paying customer. That point matters. This is not about theory or aspiration. Itโ€™s about recognising early traction, commitment and the courage to start.

Because while funding can ease pressure and unlock opportunity, mentorship is just as powerful.

Many young founders donโ€™t just need capital - they need guidance, challenge, encouragement and access to experience. Someone to help them avoid common pitfalls, sharpen their thinking and build confidence in their next move.

If that sounds like you - or someone you know - now is the time to apply: https://bit.ly/42XJypK
