Sensei Louise is running an amazing karate session at Mile End Leisure Centre for our Be Well Together Health Inequalities program. The group are doing fantastically well.

Our Be Well Together Health Inequalities sessions continue this week with karate and Zumba at Mile End Leisure Centre. Our residents with learning disabilities are doing amazing work learning to block, kick and punch as well as move and be active to improve their health and wellbeing. A great way to feel good. Drop a comment if you have learning difficulties and disabilities and live in Tower Hamlets and want to join us.

New year and new Be Well Health Inequalities program. Today we have Sensei Louise doing karate at Mile End Leisure Centre. The group are learning how to block and punch and kick. They are all doing amazing!

Our Be Well Health Inequalities session at Poplar Baths Leisure Centre is going really well. Two teams now playing a match at the end of the first session. Everyone has done fantastic today.

CORE Projects is now closed for the Christmas break. We reopen on Monday 5th January 2026. We would like to thank everyone for your support this year and wish you all a peaceful festive season and happy New Year!

For our last day at CORE Projects before the Christmas break, we took some of our training group to play darts at Boom Battle Bar. Well done to Sharif who won overall! It was a great way to finish off the year.

Our CORE Sports group went to Hollywood Bowl before we finished for the Christmas break. We all had a great time and Sharif won! Well done everyone.

The CORE Projects team went to Jimmy’s at O2 this week to enjoy their £16 buffet meal. The food is Halal so everyone was able to find something they enjoy eating. The group also bought each other secret Santa presents as well.

The CORE Projects team are enjoying a festive Christmas lunch at the centre today.

We are at the APASEN Learning Disability Day event and two of our members received awards for their hard work at CORE Projects. Well done Sharif and Fathema. (Fathema was on work placement so could not collect her award in person)
