One week on from the most incredible few days in Leeds and our team are still trying to catch their breaths (and regain their voices!)

We could have shared hundreds of photos - and a lot more selfies - but here's a very brief selection captured to show a small snapshot of our time at the UK's largest Real Estate conference.

To our Fantastic Four, we hope the hundreds of thousands of steps and endless cups of coffee was worth it for the countless contacts made, networking opportunities and panel discussions.

It sounds like there's a lot of key themes to unpack over the coming weeks and months!

Who's game for UKREiiF 2027?

💦 A day out on the water? Just what the doctor ordered!

It's been a week since the South Coast team and a few of their clients set sail on the Solent with and we're still not over it.

☀️ We were lucky to have the sunshine join us for the day, starting at Ocean Village before a brief stop out at sea for some water sports - jet skis and paddle boarding, even a few braving the elements and jumping straight into the sea (definitely a bold choice that required a wetsuit!)

Breakfast and lunch was served on board, and subsequently demolished, with a quick pub trip on the Isle of Wight to round off a brilliant day of networking, nibbles and nautical adventures.

🎂 Colin the Caterpillar may also have made an appearance to celebrate a birthday...!

🧴 A massive thank you to everyone who attended and to the staff on board - we hope you had as much fun as we did (and aren't quite as burnt too! 🫣)

👋 Say hello to our newest member of the team, Stefan!

With over 25 years' experience in the commercial property industry, Stefan joins Vail Williams as a Partner in the Building Consultancy team.

🏢He'll be based in the Birmingham office working across the West Midlands and we couldn't be more excited with the appointment.

🐦‍⬛ We're like magpies - we like new, shiny things in the office!

These two beautiful trophies arrived at our Thames Valley office a couple of weeks ago from CoStar, highlighting some of the incredible work the team has achieved in 2025.

Vail Williams was named:

🏆 Most Active Acquisition Agent - Berkshire & North Hampshire
🏆 Regional Investment Agency - South East

Our Western Corridor Agency team have been smashing it out of the park - and there's no signs of us slowing down in 2026.

🔦 Industrial agents: out of the sheds and into the spotlight…

Our team swapped steel portals and eaves heights for something slightly more civilised at the Industrial Agents Society (IAS) bi-annual conference yesterday — made even more special as the IAS celebrates its 50th anniversary.

A genuinely standout line-up for a milestone year:

♻️ Dr Sally Uren OBE setting the tone on “Sustainable futures for industrial property” (proof that ESG is no longer a side conversation)
🔮 A sharp “look back / look forward” panel keeping us all honest
⛓️ David Rennie unpacking how geopolitics is reshaping supply chains (and, by extension, our instruction pipelines)
🏉 Joe Marler bringing “Rugby & Resilience” — equal parts inspiration and reality check (and Bryony managing to get a cheeky selfie!)
❓ Bruce Daisley asking whether we should actually feel optimistic about the future of work
⚖️ Rt Hon Dame Penny Mordaunt closing with a masterclass on navigating complexity

But the key takeaway?

The industrial market may be rooted in Steel , concrete and logistics, but the forces shaping it are anything but static.

✔️ 50 years of IAS bringing industrial agents together
✔️ Canapés consumed at an industrial scale
✔️ Networking as efficient as a well-let distribution unit

A big thank you to the IAS for putting together another fantastic conference and for 50 years of championing the industrial agency sector.

Now… back to the sheds for our team!

🏃‍♂️ We cover every square metre of the market… and yesterday, three of our Gatwick team ran 10,000 of them to raise money for Bramber Bakehouse.

🍻 It may have been a bit windy, but the weather stayed kind and dry. We couldn't be prouder of the three musketeers who all completed the run in under an hour. The run may have also been followed by a well-deserved pint...!

🍰 As a lot of people are returning to the office after the Easter holidays, we thought we'd ease you in to the working week reminiscing on a wholesome afternoon.

The South Coast team organised an afternoon tea and raffle in aid of their regional charity, 's Legacy . With prizes being donated by the team and a raft of ticket sales, we raised £293 - not bad for an afternoon's work!

🎁 We won't talk too much about the adult colouring book with rude words that was gifted. Or that the Regional Managing Partner decided that would be his winning prize...
