In the last year, London authorities have removed 119,974 vapes from the market. Furthermore, enforcement has led to the seizure of 1,793,074 sticks of illegal to***co sold “under the counter.”

It is estimated that these actions have saved smokers 68 years of life by removing ci******es and reducing access to harmful products.

We're at the end of and it has been a very busy time for everyone in Trading Standards departments all over Please remember, we are all here to help and promote the good and regulate the bad.

Ending the week on more positivity, over the summer the team at Hamlets Council and London Fire Brigade won an award for the campaign.

The award was a few months ago but the information is still relevant. Please read it - it could save your life!

Nearly 50,000 vapes were seized and recycled thanks to working together!

Over the summer a retailer south of the river was discovered to have products not legal for sale and had just under 50,000 more in storage at a location north of the river!
