Melvyn. Lorraine and Louise were pleased to attend the Community Mobile recycling event at John Aird Court today.
These events allow residents to drop off bulky waste items, electrical appliances and hard to recycle items. There was also a swap shop where residents could take home pre-loved items We are hoping to organise another Community Mobile Recycling event near the Hall Park Estate soon.

Westminster should be a City where all residents feel safe and respected. Today, Cllrs Elizabeth Amos, Caroline Sargent and Louise Shaw attended a rally with colleagues to show support for our Jewish community and to stand firmly against racism on Westminster streets. Community safety is one of the new Conservative administration’s key priorities, and we will continue working to make Westminster safer for everyone.

On our ward inspection this morning, Melvyn, Lorraine and Louise reported dangerously parked E-bikes, uncollected waste and fly tipping.
If the Conservatives are elected to run Westminster Council, we will increase City Inspector deployment, focusing on hotspots to tackle littering, fly tipping and badly parked E-bikes.
