Today, he spoke to Rangdatt about why he is standing for election in Pinner South.

Rangdatt has lived in the area all his life, runs a small businessand knows Pinner very well.

If elected, Rangdatt, alongside Hamda and Dinesh would ensure that a Labour-run Harrow Council would 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐳𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐱 𝐢𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕 to help ease the cost-of-living pressures that many Pinner residents are facing.

Together with Simon and Sasikala, the team is committed to ensuring residents’ voices are heard and that key concerns - such as speeding, crime, anti-social behaviour, and fly-tipping - are listened to and acted upon.

⛔ £𝟐𝟏𝟏,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞!

What would you spend £211,000 on? Well, Harrow Council has wasted that money on resurfacing Station Road in the town centre with paving slabs that are unsuitable for such a busy road.

Since the slabs have gone down:

💥 They have deteriorated significantly as heavy buses and vehicles travel up and down the road
👷‍♂️ Residents and visitors to Harrow have been forced to navigate around construction fences and materials whilst shopping on Harrow's busiest street
🛍️ Businesses in the town centre have suffered financial losses due to the road being closed whilst the Council patches up the road surface

Although we welcome investment in the Town Centre, money is not being spent in the right places - paving slabs are not suitable building materials for a busy high street!
