Come and meet the artists of Wembley!

Join us on Saturday the 6th of June to meet artists & makers based in Wembley Park, and to explore their studios!

Friends, families, fellow creatives, and dogs are all welcome to enjoy a relaxed walk through the studios, meet the artists of Second Floor Studios and Arts, and see where and how they create their work.

From animation to ceramics, come and discover work from a wide range of disciplines. Many artists will have commission-free work for sale, making this an ideal opportunity to purchase an original artwork or find a thoughtful gift.

Celebrate Jewish Culture Month at your local library!

From now until 16 June, our libraries are showcasing themed displays featuring books by Jewish authors, perfect for learning more about Jewish culture and history.

Looking to explore further? Visit Willesden Jewish Cemetery for an afternoon of poetry celebrating Nina Salaman (1877–1925): a renowned poet and leader in the British Jewish women’s suffrage movement.

♻️ Important changes to your waste and recycling collections next week.

☀️ Due to the upcoming hot weather, crews will be starting their collections at 6am from Monday 25 until Saturday 30 May. Please ensure your bins are placed at your property boundary by 6am on the day of collection.

Following the council's Annual General Meeting, Councillor Muhammed Butt has been elected Leader of Brent Council.

He has made a series of Cabinet appointments, responsible for setting the strategic direction of the council.
