Starting something you never did before can be daunting or seems impossible when you have no idea where to start or what to do. But one thing we realised is that just starting doing it is already a good choice and this is a choice that everyone can make and it will always be right. “Just do it” as Shia laboeuf said few years ago. Start the project you were always afraid of doing.

Today I wanted to share some thoughts about the process we had been through so far.
Who could imagine that behind the most simple feature would lie an endless conversation, debate, rethinking process and questioning ? 👀
See you tomorrow !

One important thing that we have learnt along the way is to always stay curious and leaning in when new things are presented to you. This project gives us the opportunity to deepen our understanding of things we already know, but also to learn completely new things/acquire new skills.
Today we wanted to talk about this book that recently got published :) even if this isn’t exactly linked to our app, it’s a deep dive into Latin dance on an anatomical level.
Knowledge is power, and the more high quality info you have, the better and more informed decisions you can make ☀️
Not sure if a similar book exists for ballroom ? 👀

A bit late for posting this, innit ? 👀
Today we found (I mean, Loïc found 😂) the right software to build the whole MVP and learnt how to use it from scratch !
I did some diving into how we’d interpret different results once we had our test group of people use it for the first time… (and hung up those new curtains in the studio 🥳)
See you tomorrow !

This is the first day we got so caught up in the work that we almost forgot to post this 👀
Today, we learnt how to be more efficient as a team with the tools that we have and also found a quite cool solution for MVP 🔥🤯
Wow, it’s been a week already!
See you tomorrow 😇

Why are company values so important ?
What’s the best way to build this MVP from the user journey we created ? Are there too many things ? Maybe too little ?
How are we making sure the technology we’re building serves the human every step of the way and doesn’t replace any aspect of the human connection in Dancesport ? What role does the teacher play within the app itself ? How do we do this practically ? How do we rank your focus points and how do we present them to you ?
This journey is full of questions, and today those were a tiny part of what we discussed🙌🏼
See you tomorrow !✨

5 days into this challenge, and we haven’t explained what we’re building yet ?🤯
So here it is, in the most simple, short and stickman-ish way (if anyone would like to make better drawings for this, please make yourself known🤣 until then, enjoy this art form)
We’re going forward with our MVP ! We’ve now fleshed it out and found a way to do it practically - learning that sometimes the most simple and effective way is to use existing tools (especially at this testing stage where we still need to validate the solution and form).
Next step is to finishing creating it and form a test group of people to try it out and get some feedback 😇
See you tomorrow ! 💃🏼🕺🏽
(Yes yes, we know, we’re again posting this in the very last remaining minutes of this day, but hey, we still managed to post right ? 😎)

Today was about showing up. Building something is never a straight path - you often have 100 other things going on at the same time, parallel projects, jobs, and something unexpected you have to deal with urgently.
It was a day like that for us, we didn’t get as much done as we would have wanted to 👀 but we still got something, and that’s the most important 😊
We found a way to create our MVP practically and will continue working on it tomorrow ! 🕺🏽💃
see you then ;)
(Yes, we’re posting this in the last remaining minutes of day 4 🤣🥳)

Today we worked on our MVP 🤭 now, this may seem like an easy thing to do, but we’ve had SO MANY conversations and debates prior to this day (in the past couple of months) to finally come to this one simple phrase that lays out the problem we want to solve.
Now, the next step will be to find the best way to do it practically and technically so we can try it out with our first couple of users 👀 as Michael said in his lecture, you want to try it out as quickly as possible with real users in order to get valuable feedback ✨
See you tomorrow !
