Newly Elected to West Sussex County council

Representing Bognor West & Aldwick Division

30/05/2026

I recently contacted West Sussex Highways regarding a pothole repair, in particular on a road in Aldwick East, and I would like to say a big thank you to the highways team for the work they have carried out.

It’s always good to see reported issues being addressed and improvements being made for residents.

If you are aware of any potholes or road defects across Bognor West & Aldwick that need attention, please feel free to contact me and I will be happy to raise the issue with the relevant highways team for investigation.

📧 [email protected]

If possible, please include photographs and the location of the defect when reporting it. This helps me provide the highways team with the information they need to assess the issue and determine the appropriate response.

Thank you to everyone who continues to report local issues and helps keep our community safe.

🚔 Crime and Community Safety in Our Community

Since being elected as your County Councillor, many residents have contacted me about concerns including anti-social behaviour, vehicle crime, drug-related activity, road safety, street lighting, and safety in public spaces.

While I cannot investigate crimes or direct the police, I can raise concerns with the relevant authorities, work with partners, and ensure local residents’ voices are heard.

Community safety involves Sussex Police, Arun District Council, West Sussex County Council and other partners. I will be working with fellow councillors, including Cllr Elizabeth Meadows, County Councillor for Bognor Regis East, and raising concerns with the appropriate organisations, as well as the Reform UK Group at West Sussex County Council, to explore practical ways to improve community safety in Bognor Regis and across West Sussex.

What crime or community safety issues concern you most? Are there particular locations causing problems, or issues that you feel are not receiving enough attention?

Please leave a comment below or email me at [email protected].

Resident Update:
Bognor West & Aldwick Division

Had the first annual meeting of West Sussex County Council today. Proud to represent residents in Bognor West & Aldwick and continuing to work on the issues that matter locally.

I’ve also received a large number of emails recently, so please bear with me while I work through and respond to everyone. As with all newly elected councillors to West Sussex County Council, there will be a number of mandatory inductions and training sessions over the coming months as we continue our work representing residents across the county.

There is now a coalition administration running the council, and as the largest opposition group at West Sussex County Council, it is our role to hold the administration to account and ensure residents’ voices are heard.

If you need to contact me, please do so via email at [email protected] and I will respond as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and support.

I’d like to say a sincere thank you to everyone who supported me in being elected to West Sussex County Council.

It is a real honour to represent local residents, and I’m grateful for the trust that has been placed in me. I know people come from different backgrounds and political views, but I will always do my best to listen, work hard, and stand up for the interests of our community.

Thank you as well to everyone who helped during the campaign, sent messages of support, or took the time to vote.

This is just the beginning, and I look forward to getting started and continuing to serve our area as both a district and county councillor.

Thank you again for the support it truly means a lot.

I’ve heard the concerns directly on the doorstep, through messages, emails, phone calls, and here online throughout this campaign.

Unfortunately, correcting misinformation has become quite frequent but thankfully many residents have seen through it. Setting the record straight and allowing people to make up their own minds is simply the right thing to do.

Tomorrow is your chance to vote for common sense change.

Not more excuses.
Not more political games.
Just common sense, accountability, safer communities, and putting local residents first.

And finally, thank you to everyone who has sent positive messages and support throughout this campaign. While there has been negativity towards some Reform candidates and supporters, including towards myself, many local residents who were unsure how to vote, or who were moving away from the old parties, have looked beyond that and focused on the issues that actually matter.

I’ll be out across the division throughout the day tomorrow speaking with residents and supporting the team right up until polls close.

Midway through this campaign, I just want to say a sincere thank you to everyone I’ve spoken to so far across the division.

It’s a large area, and while I haven’t yet reached every street, I’ve been working steadily to speak with as many residents as possible through door knocking, leaflets, and conversations across the community.

I know some areas haven’t seen me yet, but I’m continuing to get round as much of the division as possible before polling day.

From the conversations I’ve had so far, one thing comes up again and again: people feel things aren’t working as they should whether that’s crime, the state of roads, or how money is being spent locally and they want a council that focuses on the basics and gets them right.

That’s why so many people I’ve spoken to are now looking at Reform because they want common sense, accountability, and proper value for money.

That’s the approach I’ll bring, focused, practical, and rooted in what residents actually need.

If I haven’t knocked on your door yet, feel free to get in touch I’m always happy to listen.

You can reach me at: [email protected]

Let’s keep the momentum going.
