Hello people, Happy new Year! We'd like to bring your attention a programme of festivals called the 'Summer of Festivals 2016''. This is a diverse cultural programme to usher in the UK summer and it includes music festivals, cultural celebrations and community day events.

One of the highlights is the Barking Folk Festival which takes place on 11-12 June 2016, showcasing the best of world folk music, dance, art and spoken word.

This is a great opportunity for the Tanzanian Diaspora to showcase traditional music and other art forms that will tell the story of Tanzania's culture here in the UK.
