The IDF is Israel's army and just as legitimate as the British Army and the army of every other sovereign state.

“I Support the IDF” wristbands seem to have been an issue with some of the Israel hating LSE students but it's definitely not an issue with GFI and we have these wristbands to give away at our stall for anyone who would like to come and support the Israel Defence Forces.

A good day in the sunshine in Hampstead, with an overwhelming response from the public. Record numbers signed up to our mailing list, and lots of people thanked us for standing up for Israel.
Particularly moving were the Iranians who came over to express solidarity. Together we long for the end of the tyrannical Iranian regime and freedom for the people of Iran.

Have you noticed the difference in atmosphere between pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian demonstrations?

At pro-Israel rallies, people generally stand openly and proudly, with nothing to hide. At many pro-Palestinian marches, masked faces and disguises are a common sight.

That contrast says more than people realise.

It is not even a week since that horrific act of violence against Jews in Golders Green, and what is the left calling for?

The right to agitate for more violence against Jews. The right to beat the streets hollering for ‘intifada’. And what is ‘intifada’ other than the infliction of harm and horror on Jews by militant outfits such as Hamas?

Even by the iffy standards of the keffiyeh left, it’s been a ta**ry spectacle. The speed with which the Golders Green debate went from being about the right of Jews to live in safety to the right of the Islamo-left to yell for intifada has been mindblowing.

This is the lethal narcissism of Israelophobia, where the right of bored socialists and their Islamist chums to scream blue murder about the Jewish nation takes precedence over the right of British Jews to a little peace and quiet.
