🔥 Outrage at Vandalism in New Addington
Cllrs Tony Pearson and Lara Fish are at North Down Playground, where newly installed equipment has been deliberately set on fire before it even opened.
This investment took years to secure for local children and families. This kind of mindless vandalism lets the whole community down.
The incident has been reported to the police. If you saw anything, please come forward.
Despite this setback, repairs will be made and the playground will open as planned. We will not let this stop progress or investment in New Addington.

This is restoring pride in Croydon.

🇬🇧 Supporting Our Veterans in Croydon 🇬🇧
Cllr Tony Pearson has announced an important new policy that puts veterans at the front of the queue for social housing in Croydon when they are in need.
Croydon was the first London borough to sign the Armed Forces Covenant, but for years that commitment was neglected. Since 2022, Mayor Jason Perry has restored that relationship by re signing the Covenant, reforming the Covenant Committee, and now delivering real change for veterans.
This is not about words or headlines. It is about honouring service and making sure those who served our country are supported here.
⚠️ Proposed Battery Farm Near Vulcan Way
Cllr Tony Pearson is on Vulcan Way highlighting serious concerns about a proposed lithium battery storage facility planned for green space just over the borough boundary in Bromley.
Although outside Croydon, the site would be very close to local businesses, homes, and Rowdown School, raising real questions about safety, security, and environmental impact.
Cllr Pearson is supporting Mayor Jason Perry in opposing this application — and resident comments really do matter. Please follow the link and make your views known.

Save New Addington’s Last High Street Bank!
Lloyds Bank has announced that it will close its New Addington branch — the last remaining high street bank in the community.
This closure is a hammer blow for local residents and small businesses who rely on face-to-face banking. For elderly and vulnerable residents in particular, online services are no substitute.
Labour’s mismanagement of the country's finances and huge tax increases is crippling our High Streets, with communities like New Addington suffering the most.
I'm working with your local Conservative Councillors Lara Fish, Tony Pearson and Adele Benson, to stand up for New Addington. We are demanding Lloyds Bank reverse this decision and protect essential banking services in our town.
Sign the petition today if you agree with Mayor Jason Perry that New Addington deserves its own high street bank.
