Collingtree Parish Council

Thursday 28th May was our Annual Parish meeting, it was great to see residents and members of community groups attend.

The Parish Council used this occasion to offer thanks to our amazing Vicar James, who is retiring in June. James's last service will take place on Sunday 21st June. We are sure you will all join the PC in wishing James well for a happy and healthy retirement.

Family Hubs and Collingtree Parish Council are pleased to be hosting a Family Fun for Under 11's. Please see the information below.

Our Community Fun Day is going to be a good one this year, some live entertainment and lots of lovely food and drink vendors

All Collingtree Residents:

As you will know the land off Watering Lane (next to the Hilton Hotel) has been identified for a number of years in the Local Plan for development, the land is owned by WNC and they plan to market the land with a design/plan in place.

There will be a Public Consultation on the current design/plans on Monday 18th May (as below). This will be open to all residents/members of the public and is your opportunity to see and comment on the plans.

NB: This is not a current/live Planning Application, this is WNC's initial plan for how they will market the land. Planning will be sort at a later date.

This is a polite reminder. Please pick up after your dog.

It is an offence to be out with your dog and not have a poo bag to pick up your dogs waste. It's a simply and responsible fact of owning a dog.

Last week some of our lovely coffee morning regulars joined the Parish Council on a day trip to Stamford. We had a great day exploring and lunch in the famous George Hotel, the weather was glorious which made it all the more memorable. Where will our next adventure be Collingtree PC on Tour!

Our Easter Coffee Morning was a huge success, so lovely to continue to see new faces at our coffee mornings.

Thank you again to our colleagues at Northants Police for attending, always great to see the team.
