Notts LGBT+ Network Proudly offering information and support since 1975. We connect and represent the LGBT+ community in Notts to feel empowered everyday.

Notts LGBT+ Network is a registered charity run entirely by unpaid volunteers

Based in central Nottingham, we have been offering support and advice to the county’s LGBT+ community, their friends and family, as well as local organisations and businesses, since 1975

Our network creates a safe space for people looking for information, advice and help relating to LGBT+ issues, including sexuality, gender identity, sexual health and emotional well-being. We primarily work with over 18’s but we are able to signpost to organisations who work with under 18’s

Niche Artefact is a non-profit organisation nurturing spaces for local artists to express creativity with art exhibits and Live Stage Shows - while creating space for the LGBTQIA+ community to discover the magic they have within themselves.

Announcing our 16th Artist Showcase from Niche Artefact. Diving deep into the extraordinary life of Judy Garland. The show is held at Revolution de Cuba, Alexandra House 26-28 Market St Nottingham NG1 6HW 01158 715735. This unique glamorous art event with a full live variety stage show will begin at 6PM on Sunday 29th November 2026. You will be able to mingle with all the live performers and local artists that will be revealing one of a kind, never before seen pieces of artwork and enjoy a varied evening of live entertainment including a silent auction.

Notts Big Q***r Market returns for Halloween! Join us Friday 23rd of October 6-10pm (18+) and Saturday 24th of October 12-5pm (all ages!) at Backlit Gallery. There will be 80+ local artists, live portait artists, a tarot reader, a bootblack, a fundraiser tombola (mutual aid for Palestine and trans aid Cymru), a swap shop, and information about local services!

As the Nottingham Q***r Arts Collective celebrate 5 years of existing, they are looking for Volunteer Event Hosts to join the team and support the smooth running of the events.

They looking for new and existing members to support with the following:

• Setting up and resetting event spaces before and after monthly events
• Welcoming acts and guests on arrival
• Supporting collecting drink and snacks ahead of monthly events
• Supporting sharing and promoting upcoming events through social media platforms

NQAC events run Wednesday nights once a month between 7pm and 9pm. Event Hosts would be required from 6pm till 9.30pm and you can support as many or a little as you like!
