Residents of Failsworth West, vote for this man on the 12th of Novemeber

My name is Rob Gunn (pictured). I’m a local lad standing for Restore Britain in the 12th November by-election for Failsworth West.

I am standing because I believe Failsworth deserves better than the shafting it continually gets from Oldham council. I want to fight for the future of our community, clean up our streets, and fight for a fairer share of council spending.

For too long, ordinary working-class people have been let down by politicians who make promises but fail to deliver.
Labour has betrayed their working class roots. The Conservatives have lost their moral compass. And Reform, after locally striking a deal with Labour, are leaving people asking who is really standing up for them.

Well - I WILL.

I believe Failsworth needs a fresh start. It needs new energy. It needs people who can make difficult decisions and not sell-out.

I want to see our streets cleaned up, anti-social behaviour tackled, fly-tipping stopped, and our neighbourhoods made safer.

I want to see a community where people take pride in where they live, neighbours look out for one another, and local residents have a councillor who actually listens and fights their corner.

I'm not a career politician, unlike the Labour candidate. I'm someone who cares about this town and the people who call it home.

I'm standing because I don't want to sit back and watch our community decline while the same old politics fails us time and time again.

This is about more than today's problems. It's about tomorrow's future. My future. My wife's future. My neighbour's future. My friend's future. My community's future.

I'm young, and the decisions made today will shape the Failsworth I live in for decades to come. I have a vested interest in making Failsworth as best as I possible can, because I am going to spend the next 50+ years living here.

I want a town where the next generation can grow up proud of their home, confident in their community, and hopeful about their future.

I am a big believer of the saying - "A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in."

I'm ready to stand up, speak out, and fight for Failsworth.

It's time to put our community first. It's time to fight for our future. It's time to Restore Failsworth.

🇬🇧 Vote Robert Gunn, your Restore Britain candidate on the 12th November for a better future for Failsworth.

Thanks,
Rob

The outbreak of violence, looting, and arson in France is the inevitable result of the multi-cultural project, and it will come to Britain soon unless we take urgent action to reverse it.

The governments of Britain, like France have spent years confusing tolerance with surrender, political correctness with civilization, and excuses with accountability.

A nation cannot keep apologizing for its own history, neglecting its borders, failing to enforce its laws, and treating its own taxpayers like an afterthought, then wonder why respect for its institutions is disappearing.

If we do not reverse these trends in our own country, then we will lose control of our streets, and the only people who will fear the consequences will be those trying to protect themselves, their families, their homes, and their businesses.

If you don’t want to see shops looted, historic buildings burned, proud monuments defaced, and our people harmed, Restore Britain must have your vote.

Yesterday, we attended the Candidate and Agent briefing for the Failsworth West by-election.

Let’s just say it was sparsely attended…..

Such a shame that some decided they couldn’t even make this gesture of goodwill out of respect for democracy and the people they claim to want to represent!

I’m sure Chris Baddeley (Reform UK), Stephen Eric Davenport (Conservative), Pete Davis (Labour) Andrew Kevin Jones (Green) and Lynne Christine Thompson (Liberal Democrat) just had more important things to do. They didn’t even send their agents, except for Andrew Kevin Jones whose agent did attend, so fair play to them I suppose 🤷‍♂️ We’d like to thank the council for giving up some time to brief the candidates and agents 👏

We are serious about our aims to restore this country, and it starts with politicians who work for the people and not themselves! It starts with recognising who will do what is right, rather than what is simply good for themselves! It starts with voting Restore Britain 🇬🇧 It starts on November 12th by voting for Robert Gunn in Failsworth West.

Failsworth first, then we Restore Britain! 🇬🇧

It can be done!

There is something of a misconception among voters regarding the council.

Voting for a Reform candidate does not mean that the candidate has any different powers in the chamber than a Restore Britain candidate would have.

Reform and Restore Britain are aligned on many issues. If either were elected, you would see largely the same voting outcomes in the council.

But here is the difference: a Restore Britain councillor would not belong to an unstable group that chops and changes its leader and can't keep its councillors under control. A Restore Britain councillor would keep their promises and would not make deals with Labour.

A Restore Britain councillor would not be part of a party whose leadership is schizophrenic on important issues such as immigration and what makes somebody British. They would never be part of a party where senior figures say, "I'll be long gone by then," in response to Britons becoming a minority in their own homeland by 2063.

Finally, a Restore Britain councillor would be the first step towards a Restore Britain administration that would root out corruption, find the money, and actually spend it on improving the lives of hardworking British taxpayers.

Neither Reform nor Restore Britain is owed your vote. There is no pre-existing vote to split. Your vote is your own, so vote for whichever party/candidate most closely aligns with your beliefs.

If that party is Restore Britain, then, if you are a Failsworth West resident, vote for Robert Gunn on 12 November.

Britain has a housing shortage.

This is the governments train of thought:

We need to build more houses because we have imported a lot of foreign people. So, we need to import more foreign people to build more houses. Therefore we need more houses because we have imported more foreign people. And repeat.

Restore will solve this issue at its source.

Enough is enough. Millions must go.

FOLLOW THE MONEY - DEMAND THE TRUTH - RESTORE ACCOUNTABILITY 🇬🇧

FAILSWORTH WEST DESERVES ANSWERS. NOT EXCUSES.

While other politicians talk about potholes and make promises, we need to ask the questions residents deserve answers to — especially when it comes to how Oldham Council spends public money, manages its assets and deals with serious safeguarding failures.

Our message is simple: no more unanswered questions. No more secrecy. No more business as usual.

WHERE HAS THE MONEY GONE?

- Why have council reserves been run down, and what safeguards are in place to protect taxpayers?

-Why was four acres of council land reportedly sold for ÂŁ50,000 when the subsequent sale was said to be worth ÂŁ1.7 million? Who authorised the deal, and will the full transaction be independently scrutinised?

- If Spindles was supposed to be self-funding, why has it reportedly required ÂŁ80,000 a week in subsidies?

- Why was the Oldham Coliseum project initially presented as costing ÂŁ10 million, with an opening planned for December 2025, when reported costs have since risen to ÂŁ20 million and a new opening date remains unclear?

- If the Coliseum was reportedly losing ÂŁ20,000 a week, where was the sustainable business plan, and who was going to operate it?

WHERE IS THE ACCOUNTABILITY?

Serious questions also remain about child safeguarding in Oldham.

Following the tragic deaths of two children in council care, residents deserve clear answers about what happened, what action has been taken and what safeguards are now in place.

What is the current position on the long-awaited CSE report?

Why has its publication remained such a contentious issue, and what is the timetable for delivering the answers residents have been promised?

Rupert Lowe has put transparency around grooming gangs firmly into the public debate. We want that same determination to pursue answers, examine evidence and demand accountability to be applied locally in Oldham.

THE PUBLIC DESERVES THE TRUTH — AND THE EVIDENCE.

And what about the reported ÂŁ80 million in uncollected council rates? How much is genuinely recoverable, what is being done to collect it, and can the council provide a clear breakdown of arrears while protecting legitimate commercial and personal confidentiality?

Residents cannot be expected to accept cuts to services, deteriorating roads and endless excuses without knowing whether public money is being managed responsibly.

Potholes matter. Local services matter. But so does asking why money is being lost, projects are exceeding budgets and basic questions remain unanswered.

Restore Britain are prepared to ask what others have left unasked — and keep asking until residents get answers.

That means publishing the evidence, demanding independent scrutiny where necessary, and holding decision-makers accountable regardless of their party.

For Failsworth West, this is about more than another political promise. It is about a council that answers to its residents, respects taxpayers’ money and puts openness before reputation.

If residents want transparency, scrutiny and real accountability, Restore Britain is offering a different approach.

No more blind trust. No more unanswered questions.

FAILSWORTH WEST DESERVES ANSWERS. DEMAND THEM ON NOVEMBER 12TH!

VOTE ROBERT GUNN FOR FAILSWORTH WEST! VOTE RESTORE BRITAIN 🇬🇧

If a person has been addicted to drugs for many years, rehabilitating them is extremely difficult. Taking away the drug will send the person into withdrawal, and it is likely they will become physically sick for a spell. But, despite this, it is always best to help an addict off drugs, because taking drugs is worse for them than withdrawal, and if they don’t stop, they will destroy their mind and body.

Britain is very much like a drug addict. For many decades, we have been addicted to two specific, highly dangerous drugs – high government spending, and immigration. We have been running these things at unsustainable levels for so long, we simply cannot cope. Our economy is broken, and without welfare spending many people would find themselves underwater, and without population growth to prop up our GDP, we would fall into a recession.

But like a drug, high government spending and immigration are killing us, more rapidly each year than the last. Our towns and cities are in a state of degradation. The only solution is to cut off the drug.

What needs to be done… it’s going to hurt. A lot. And while it can be done in the right way, carefully, thoughtfully, and in the end we will emerge on the other side, stronger for it, the truth is that this country is not going to recover unless we endure a period of hardship.

That’s the honest truth, which you will not hear from any party, except Restore Britain.

Immigration into Britain isn’t merely about letting people in and kicking them out. A major factor in dealing with the issue is addressing the incentives which bring and keep foreign people here. You can tell people not to come and to leave, but if they still want to be here, you’re going to meet resistance. That’s why Restore Britain are proposing to disincentivise life in Britain by banning practices which unwanted foreign peoples like to engage in.

If a third-world migrant knows when they come to Britain, they cannot eat halal meat, cannot take a cousin or underage girl as a wife, and she can choose for herself what she wears, and their local mosque will get shut down if it tries to practice and enforce these things on the sly, they will be less inclined to come here.

Rupert Lowe and Restore Britain understand it isn’t just about numbers in and out – it’s about culture and environment too. A permissive and tolerant environment is welcoming. We do not want to welcome people who practise these things. We will enforce British standards and ensure those who come to live among us are tolerable to us, not the other way round.

We recently received a comment on a post which said the following: “I am worried about immigration into the country, and I don’t want to become a minority in my own country. However, I cannot support Restore Britain because I think your policies are too extreme.”

Our response is this: If you don’t find the stomach to do what is necessary, you will lose your country.

The United Kingdom is in a perilous state. Crime is through the roof. Our towns and cities are rife with decay, danger, and filth. Immigrants, both legal and illegal are flooding into the country in their hundreds every day. Young girls are still being targeted by foreign gangs of men. The prospect of civil unrest in the streets, like we see now in France and elsewhere is growing by the day.

The problems we have will not be fixed by weakness. Business-as-usual policies which are soft, safe, kind, or tolerant will not work, because the people menacing our streets, breaking our border laws, preying on our children with drugs and worse are not soft, safe, kind, or tolerant – they are brutal, uncaring, unfeeling, and dangerous, and they must be dealt with accordingly.

Any party pretending we can bring down crime, close the borders, and rediscover economic growth by tinkering around the edges are not a serious party, and you shouldn’t vote for them.

Restore Britain are not going to pretend the problems we face are small or the solutions we offer are nice and easy. We’re not promising comforting lies for your vote.

When you vote for us, remember this: you are not voting to change direction; you are voting to fight back. You are voting to fire corrupt judges and civil servants. You are voting for the police to raid fronts for organised crime, like Turkish barbers and v**e shops. To house illegals in tents under armed guard, not hotels with room service. To sanction countries who don’t take back their people. For a referendum to bring back the death penalty for the worst offenders. To put quangos and NGOs out of a job. To ban halal slaughter and the practice of Sharia.

A lot of people are going to be upset by what needs to be done. But if you’re unwilling to do it, then you will get – and deserve – everything that follows. It’s time to find your courage.

“There is plenty of space for new houses. We have lots of countryside.”

Britain has a deep connection and affection for its countryside. Restore Britain would rather preserve agricultural land and natural landscapes than concrete over them to make space for new builds to house migrants. Our home is precious, and we should not destroy it to house people who don’t care about it.

If you elect our councillor Robert Gunn, he will oppose the rapid encroachment of residential building into our green spaces, like those proposed in Woodhouses.
