⚠️ Could you spot an abrasive wheel that's unsuitable for the job?

Selecting the wrong abrasive wheel can create serious risks, even when the machine itself is in good working condition.

Before use, it's important to check that the wheel is suitable for the machine and task, its maximum operating speed is appropriate and there are no signs of damage.

Our Abrasive Wheels Training helps delegates understand the hazards associated with abrasive wheels and the precautions required for safe use.

Would your team recognise an incorrectly assembled mobile access tower?

Understanding correct assembly procedures, inspection requirements and how to recognise potential hazards is essential.

Our PASMA Tower for Users Training combines theory with practical exercises to help delegates develop the knowledge and skills needed to use mobile access towers safely.

Would you know what to check before using a mobile access tower? 👷

A mobile access tower might look ready to use, but appearance alone doesn't mean it's safe.

Before use, it's important to check that the tower has been assembled correctly, is suitable for the task and shows no signs of damage or missing components.

Our PASMA Tower for Users Training combines theory with practical exercises covering safe assembly, alteration, dismantling, inspection and use of mobile access towers.

Is the weight of an object the only thing that makes a manual handling task risky?
No – there's much more to consider.

The task itself, the individual carrying it out, the load and the working environment can all influence the level of risk involved.
Even relatively light loads can become problematic when they're awkward to hold, repeatedly handled or moved in difficult conditions.

Our Manual Handling Training helps delegates understand these risks and the principles of safer handling.

Could you identify the information on an abrasive wheel before fitting it? ⚠️
Understanding wheel markings and selecting equipment suitable for the machine and task are important parts of using abrasive wheels safely.

Users should also know what to check before use and be able to recognise damage or other issues that could make equipment unsuitable.

Our Abrasive Wheels Awareness Training covers the hazards, selection, checks and precautions involved in the safe use of abrasive wheels.

When was the last time you properly checked a ladder before using it? 🪜
Ladders and step ladders are used so routinely that it's easy for pre-use checks to become just that – routine.

Before use, equipment should be checked for obvious defects or damage that could affect its safety, as well as making sure it's suitable for the task and can be positioned correctly.

Our Safe Use of Ladders & Step Ladders Training helps users understand how to select, inspect and use ladder equipment safely.
