Your community. Your voice. Your future.

The risks facing our communities can change over time, and they aren’t the same everywhere across Lancashire.

That’s why we want to hear from the people who live and work here.

We’re now in the second phase of our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) consultation, asking for your views on the risks we’ve identified and how Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service plans to prevent and respond to them.

Your feedback will help shape our final plan and how we deliver our services over the next five years.

Take part: www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/LFRScrmp2

It takes around 5 minutes to complete and closes at 5pm on Friday 9 October 2026.

Our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) explains how we'll help keep Lancashire safer over the next five years.

Earlier this year, we asked our communities, partners and employees what matters most to them. We've used that feedback to develop our draft plan, and now we're inviting your views as part of the second phase of our consultation.

We'd like to hear what you think about the community risks we've identified and how we plan to prevent and respond to them.

Take part in the survey here: www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/LFRScrmp2

Station Manager Maguire gives an update on the incident on Rainford Road, Bickerstaffe.

Six fire engines are currently in attendance at a commercial building fire on Rainford Road, Bickerstaffe, Ormskirk.

If you can see or smell smoke, keep your windows and doors shut.
We also ask people to avoid the area, where possible.

Thank you.

Your community. Your fire service. Your say.

We’re asking for your help to shape the future of Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.

Our Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) sets out how we’ll keep people safe over the next five years and right now, we’re simply listening.

There are no proposed changes at this stage. We just want to understand what matters most to you.

Take our 5-minute survey: www.smartsurvey.co.uk/s/LFRS26
Closes 5pm Sunday 15th March 2026

Every response helps us plan for safer communities 🚒
