A30 will be closed for roadworks overnight 9pm 5th Sept to 6am. Traffic will be diverted via A388 to Carkeel and A38 to Carminnow Cross and reverse. I've seen the signs already on a Callington roundabout. This is the first of many closures of the A30 over the coming months for safety works. But beware that lots of drivers will no doubt be taking to the back roads and could be clogging up our village roads.

The skate park has been closed following a professional inspection, which found it is now unsafe to use. We have asked people to stay off the equipment for their own safety.

Unfortunately, the damage is too extensive for repair to be a viable option. We are actively exploring replacement options and funding opportunities, and will share updates as soon as we have them.
