THIS SUNDAY: THE AUTUMN 5K SWIM CHALLENGE! 🏊‍♀️🍂

Ready to take the plunge? There’s still time to sign up for the Hilsea Lido Autumn 5K Swim Challenge 2026!

Take on 5K your way, broken down into 25 x 200m intervals with rest breaks built in so you can pace yourself and take on the challenge one length at a time. 💪

NEW LANE NOW OPEN! We’ve added an extra lane to welcome more swimmers, with different pace options available to help you find your fit.

💙 Even better, this year we’re swimming in support of The Parenting Network Portsmouth, helping raise awareness and support for a fantastic local cause.

⏰ Briefing at 8:30am | Swim starts at 9am

The pool is unheated, so come prepared for the autumn chill! Rash vests and wetsuits are welcome. Wetsuit hire available on the day.

Ready to take on 5K in the Lido?

Join us on Sunday 25th October for our Autumn 5K Swim Challenge - 5,000m broken down into 25 x 200m intervals.

This year, we’re proud to be supporting The Parenting Network Portsmouth!

🏊 Choose your lane & pace:

Swim starts: 9:00am

This challenge is designed for swimmers with a good level of endurance who are comfortable swimming and resting within the above times.

Rash vests and wetsuits are welcome.
