Mobile Speed Activation Sign Installed in Ruddlemoor.

We are pleased to confirm that the Parish Council-owned Mobile Speed Activation Sign has now been erected in Ruddlemoor.

The sign will remain in place for approximately 6–8 weeks, during which time it will monitor and record southbound vehicle speeds.

After this period, the data collected will be downloaded and reviewed to help us better understand traffic speeds in the area.

This is part of the Parish Council’s ongoing commitment to improving road safety and encouraging drivers to slow down when travelling through our communities.

Thank you for helping to keep our roads safe.

🌿🚢 Great News for Our Parish Footpaths 🚢🌿

Treverbyn Parish Council is delighted to announce that we have been successful in securing grant funding from Cornwall Council to improve footpath signage across the parish.

This funding will allow us to make improvements to a wide range of public footpaths, ensuring they are clearly signposted and easier for residents and visitors to navigate and enjoy.

βœ… New footpath signs will be installed where signage is currently missing.

βœ… Existing signs that are damaged, worn or in need of replacement will be renewed.

Our parish footpaths are categorised as Gold and Silver routes, and this particular grant will focus on improving signage along our Gold footpaths.

πŸ› οΈ When will the work take place?

Installation will take place in due course, with all works scheduled to be completed before the end of the current financial year.

We are extremely pleased to have secured this funding, which will help us maintain and improve access to our wonderful network of public rights of way.
