Buried in the detail of yesterday’s Budget was something that deserves far more attention.

From spring 2027, the Government plans to lower occupation-specific salary thresholds for Skilled Worker visas from the median wage to the 25th percentile.

At the same time, 981,000 young people aged 16–24 are not in education, employment or training.

So why are we making overseas recruitment easier before properly fixing apprenticeships, skills and employment opportunities for the people already here?

This risks creating even more competition for jobs while another generation of young people struggles to get a foothold.

Read the Government’s own Budget and make your own mind up.

The headlines sound good.

£100 towards energy bills.
A temporary VAT cut.
Business-rate relief.
A few targeted giveaways.

But step back and ask the more important question:

Are working people actually better off?

The Government’s own Budget says household energy prices are still around 73% higher than the 2020 average, while the IFS says this Budget contains “very little that will move the dial on growth.” Independent analysis also says families are facing a prolonged squeeze on living standards.

So yes, £100 is welcome.

But £100 does not fix:
- structurally high energy costs
- weak growth
- frozen tax thresholds
- expensive housing
- declining industrial competitiveness
- the cost pressures hitting businesses and households every month

This country does not need another round of temporary sticking plasters.

It needs structural change.
-Cheaper energy.
-A simpler tax system.
-More productive industry.
-More money left in the pockets of people who earn it.
-And government focused on making Britain competitive again.

Whatever party you have supported in the past, that is the real test now:

Is the current model actually improving your life?

Because if the answer is no, then tinkering around the edges is not enough.

Britain needs something materially different.

There seems to be an increasingly common theme of pushing political agendas onto our children. Whatever happened to allowing children to think critically and form their own opinions? 🤔😡

Feels a bit dodgy 🤔

The system is to blame!

At what point do people start asking why so many different parts of the establishment appear so intensely focused on Reform UK?

Undercover investigations.
Police investigations triggered by undercover operations.
Relentless scrutiny of candidates and councillors.
Alleged politically motivated threats and violence against senior Reform figures.
Questions over taxpayer-funded organisations and politically partisan material.
Constant attempts to portray Reform as something uniquely dangerous.

Reform should absolutely be scrutinised. So should every political party.

But the scale, intensity and consistency of the attention raises a legitimate question:

What exactly are so many institutions afraid Reform might change?

Is it immigration policy?
The political class?
The way public money is spent?
The relationship between government, media and NGOs?
Or simply the possibility that millions of people no longer accept the old political consensus?

Maybe there is no grand conspiracy.

But when political parties, campaign organisations, media outlets and institutions all seem unusually exercised by one political movement, people are entitled to ask why.

What is it about Reform that threatens the existing political order so much?

🚨SHOCKING!!

Angela Rayner’s department spent the BRITISH PEOPLE’S MONEY on Left-wing propaganda trying to stop Reform, The Telegraph reveals today.

As deputy prime minister, Ms Rayner announced a £15m “community cohesion” fund to “bring people together” and prevent further unrest after the Southport riots.

But money from the fund went to former Hope Not Hate left-wing activists for training local councils on preventing the “disaster” of a Reform government and trying to shut down public criticism of immigration.

They are using our own money, YOUR money, to fund left-wing activism and stop people opposing things like mass immigration and broken borders.

Do you see what’s happening ⁉️
