On Thursday 8 October, we were delighted to host our inaugural Sutton Volunteer Recognition Awards at Sutton Central Library, celebrating 58 incredible volunteers who make a real difference to people’s lives and communities across Sutton.

🌟 Joined by the Mayor of Sutton, we recognised the dedication, kindness, time and skills that volunteers give so generously to support others and help our communities thrive.

A huge CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU to all 58 award recipients, and to the organisations that nominated them. Your contributions deserve to be celebrated, and we are so proud to shine a spotlight on the difference you make! 💐And THANK YOU to Peter Struik, event photographer extraordinaire!

On Tuesday 13 October representatives from Volunteer Centre Sutton will be at the College offering free blood pressure checks and health advice.

We’re looking for 2 youth workers to join the MAPS Mentoring, Advocacy and Peer Support as Mentoring & Advocacy Practitioners.

✨ Build trusted relationships
✨ Support young people to build confidence
✨ Help young people have their voices heard

⏰ 1 full-time (36 hrs)
⏰ 1 part-time (24 hrs)
