The week started overcast and bleary, ended with sunshine and clear blue skies! Our trips have been to Lickey Hills and Cherry Lane garden centre.

John enjoyed a game of chess with Steve and catch up on the recent football ⚽️ results.

Kim was in the salon this week for hairdressing day.

Tuesday, we welcomed Johnny Allen and Wednesday was a sing a long with Steve! Our residents loved joining in and some dancing too.

Finally, happy birthday to our eldest resident, Lily ❤️ who is celebrating her amazing 103rd birthday today 🥳 love from your Lapal family.

This week we said farewell to Ade, our decorator at Carlton for the last 9 years. We’ll miss the laughs and the stories and can’t wait to hear all about your new life as you hit the road with Linda in your camper van! Thank you from all of us at Lapal amd Grange ❤️

So, it was Margaret’s one to one time this week, she had a lovely shopping experience at Merry Hill followed by a Wetherspoons lunch and a nice sweet cider 🍷 thank you to Steve

Today is International Nurses Day. 💙
We are so grateful for our district nurses who work alongside us at Lapal and care for our residents every day.

Anyone for golf ⛳️
Wednesday morning, it was Don's turn for a one to one session, he chose to go to the golf range in Halesowen. He absolutely loved it and even gave Steve some advice on his technique 😆⛳️

He followed up with a full English for lunch before heading back to Lapal.

Pam recently attended the BID awards to see Stella Weston of Bella’s Beautiful Things receive the Tony Billingham community award - so nice they still remember him, never forgotten ❤️
