Margaret helps massively with events planning, events leadership, stepping up on the clean when we are short, and the past year of when I got really poorly, she took over the vet runs and so much more…she’s honestly a backbone to SCRT and we are super lucky to have her ❤️

🆘 HELP NEEDED ‼️
CAVAN BILL £4.5k and Baby Treacle 😍

We are feeling completely battered at the moment. And yes I know we are constantly asking… because it literally doesn’t stop 🛑

The cases just keep coming, and every time we think we might get a chance to catch our breath, another cat arrives needing urgent veterinary care.

On Monday we need to pay our Cavan Vets bill, but right now we simply don’t have the funds sitting there to cover it.

The past few weeks alone have seen an endless stream of procedures and investigations. We’ve had multiple surgeries, biopsies, neuters, dentals, X-rays and abdominal scans. We currently have a kitten facing the possibility of orthopaedic surgery, and that’s just one of many ongoing cases needing treatment and monitoring. - BABY TREACLE is very handsome and we need to be able to give him what he needs 🥹 He was found all alone on the side of a road by a car garage 🔧 He has a broken hock. If he needs surgery- it needs raising before the surgery!

It feels relentless. There is no pause button. The bills keep mounting while the animals keep arriving, each one needing help just as much as the last.

We never want to turn our backs on an animal in need, but the reality is that we cannot continue without support. Every donation, no matter how small, genuinely helps us keep going and helps us say “yes” to the next cat that desperately needs us.

If you’ve ever thought about helping us, now would be an incredible time to do so.

He thoroughly enjoyed the extra human company yesterday and would love to find his forever in a home of his own🏡

They were found on the streets and a vet nurse was desperate for help… now we need to try save those eyes! They aren’t too bad, so hopefully lots of drops and meds should sort them…. Just another 2 mouths to treat and feed… 😩
