🎉 We’ve got some exciting news to share!

We’re really proud to announce that Rising Ohana’s CIC has received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund. 💛

This means a lot to us because it helps us continue providing free activities and support for families and young people within our communities.

Over the coming months, we’ll be running:

🎨 Creative art sessions
🍳 Cooking sessions
🌱 Confidence-building activities

And there’s more to come too!

Our activities will be taking place across South East London, and because of this funding, we’ll also be able to offer support with childcare and travel costs for those who need it.

We know that sometimes it’s the extra costs that can make it difficult for families to take part, so being able to offer that additional support is really important to us.

We’re genuinely excited about what’s coming and we can’t wait to welcome everyone along.

Keep an eye on our pages for dates, locations and information on how to sign up.

A huge thank you to The National Lottery Community Fund for supporting Rising Ohana’s and helping us continue doing what we love — supporting families, young people and our community. 💛

See you soon! 🙌🏾

Not everyone can access local parenting support, especially when a programme is only available in one area.

That’s why we’re exploring an online option that could make our parenting course more accessible to families beyond Bromley. 💛

We’d love to know what you would like us to cover and which month would work best for you.

Would you be interested in joining our free upcoming webinar? Share your questions and help us shape the session round what matters most to you.

Are you expecting your first baby and based in Croydon? 💛

Or do you know someone who is?

Rising Ohana’s CIC would love to give a little extra care to a first-time mum as she prepares for this exciting new chapter.

Tell us in the comments: What would make preparing for motherhood feel a little easier right now?

You can tag yourself or someone you know who is expecting their first baby and lives in Croydon.

We’ll choose one first-time mum from the comments to receive a care package, which we’ll deliver to her. 🌸

Entries close Sunday, 30 August.
