Garden club with Weeton Primary

We made rot pots to show the children how compost is made.

We added leaves, fruit waste, shredded paper, wood chip, grass cuttings and other garden waste. We will check them weekly to see how our compost is changing.

This afternoon at snack shack session it was chip butties using potatoes we harvested from the garden 🥔

There was also homemade vegetable soup and homemade bread 🍞 which was all prepared and cooked this morning at our weeton mess Veterans group 🥰

It all tasted amazing and there was not 1 chip left!!! Oh and we even had a soup sandwich made by one of our little people 🤣
