Very boring question……when did you last actually check what you're paying for your gas and electricity?

The energy price cap went up in October, and there are now predictions of another significant increase around 16–24% in January.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it's definitely happening and it's a really good reason to check what you're paying rather than just waiting to see what happens.

A few days ago UW launched the lowest fixed energy tariff in the UK, with the majority of other providers not offering one at all as the market is so volatile.
