Today for , we’re shining a spotlight on the incredible impact volunteering can have on patient experience 💙

At Bushey Fields Hospital, patients and volunteers came together to help build a new polytunnel creating not just a gardening space, but an opportunity for connection, wellbeing, and recovery.

Watch the video to hear from Dan, one of the volunteers who helped build the polytunnel and continues to support the hospital gardens, as he shares more about the work the project has done, and how it has helped patients across the hospital. 🌟 Celebrating the power of volunteering! 🌟

Since 2023, our volunteering programme has grown to 56 dedicated volunteers supporting services across the Black Country, making a real difference to patients, service users and communities every day.

From inspiring personal stories to remarkable achievements, including 18 volunteers progressing into paid employment, our recent celebration event highlighted the incredible impact of volunteering and the exciting future ahead.
