A fantastic turnout today, even when the sun was shining β˜€οΈ

Renita Horton did a great Q&A session which included questions about SABR, external beam radiotherapy, hormones and sexual function after prostate cancer treatment.

The raffle was successful once again raising over Β£100 for the support group.

Thank you to everyone who attended! πŸ’™

Thankyou again to Michelle Milletic for joining us from the QE.
Michelle gave an excellent and informative talk about continence following prostatectomy and radiotherapy. It really did highlight the importance of continence following radical treatment for prostate cancer.
There was lots of questions and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!

Unfortunately we had to cancel the raffle this time, however, there will be a raffle at our next support group on 27th April! We also welcome Renita Horton back to talk about radiotherapy and prostate cancer at our next meeting! πŸ’™

Yesterday we welcomed back Dr Steve Allen who gave a talk on the future of prostate cancer. It was extremely interesting and Steve spoke about up to date scanning, and gave an in depth look as to why we use certain kinds of imaging to diagnose prostate cancer.

Once again, we thanks Steve for his excellent talk and we hope you all enjoyed it! πŸ’™
