The Deputy Minister for Transport and MP for Jomoro, Hon. Dorcas Affo - Toffey, has hosted Awulae Kwasi Amakyie III, Paramount Chief of the Western Nzema Traditional Area, along with Nananom from the Traditional Council.
They acknowledged her commitment to championing the development agenda of the constituency through effective lobbying and stakeholder engagement.
Among the notable achievements highlighted were her instrumental role in facilitating the construction of the Samenye–Newtown Road and her contributions towards advancing petroleum-related development projects within the area.
These interventions, according to the chiefs, have significantly impacted the lives of the people and accelerated the socio-economic development of Jomoro.
Awulae Kwasi Amakyie III congratulated Hon. Affo-Toffey on her achievements so far and assured her of the council’s unwavering support as she continues to serve both the constituency and the nation.

A delegation from A-TECH GROUP KOREA (ATGK), led by its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Lee Cheol Su, today called on the Minister for Transport, Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, to discuss strategic initiatives aimed at advancing Ghana’s drone and aviation technology ecosystem.
The Chief Executive briefed the Minister on ATGK’s plan to host the 1st African Drone Expo in Ghana. He further disclosed that a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between ATGK, the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), and Accra Technical University (ATU) to deepen research, training, and innovation in the drone sector.
Hon. Nikpe welcomed the delegation and reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to leveraging emerging technologies to position Ghana as an aviation hub in the sub-region.
The Minister assured the delegation of the Ministry’s support and collaboration.
