Ghana Armed Forces Recruitment Updates

The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong- Peprah has commended the Honorary Consular Corps of Ghana (HCCG) for supporting the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) to maintain peace and security in the country.
He made these remarks when the executive members of the Honorary Consular Corps of Ghana led by its Dean, His Excellency Domitri Avraam called on the CDS at the General Headquarters, Burma Camp on Tuesday 23 April, 2024.

GEN OPPONG-PEPRAH VISITS GAF TRAINING INSTITUTIONS

The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Thomas Oppong-Peprah has paid a working visit to the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), and the Ghana Military Academy (GMA), to ascertain operational, administrative and logistics challenges facing the institution, and seek lasting solutions.

Headquarters, Southern Command (S/COMD) has held a one-day Retreat to conduct a thorough introspection into the activities of the command over the past year as well as make projections into the future for the year under reviews

KAIPTC’S LEADERSHIP & MGMT IN SECURITY ORGS COURSE

The Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) has introduced a course – Leadership and Management in Security Organisations – targeting security companies, security professionals and leaders as well as the general public, and seeks to develop the core competencies that are consistent with existing security requirements and corporate culture.

COAS ON FIRST OFFICIAL VISIT TO 1 GARRISON

The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) – Major General (Maj Gen) Bismarck Kwasi Onwona has undertaken a familiarisation tour of 1 Infantry Battalion (1 BN), 815 Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) Regiment, Base Ammunition Depot (BAD) and the Army Recruit Training School (ARTS).
