Talk To Your Child
To assist your toddler in learning to speak and understand words, talk to him. As you play and go about your regular activities together, point to nearby items and describe them. A large vocabulary provides a child a leg up when it comes to education.

Allow and encourage your child to do some activities by himself/herself. This is important to teach a child independence and responsibility.
